Fixed Asset and Payroll Accounting experience required.
Seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager Consultant to provide hands-on leadership across key corporate accounting functions, including fixed assets, payroll and benefits accounting, management reporting, financial statement footnotes, and internal/external audit support.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee accounting activities related to fixed assets and payroll & benefits.
- Manage and develop a team of 9 accounting professionals through 3 direct-reporting Supervisors.
- Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting deliverables.
- Support monthly and quarterly close, including meeting critical reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and review management reporting and financial statement footnotes.
- Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests, ensuring accurate and timely supporting documentation.
- Partner with the Director of Corporate Accounting to maintain established processes, controls, and accounting policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and reporting.
- Effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly with accounting leadership, team members, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field required
- SAP experience preferred
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and multiple levels of staff.
- Strong hands-on experience with fixed asset accounting and payroll accounting — both are required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently.
