Role Overview: Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Cash Applications Specialist. Our client located in Addison, IL is looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. Our client is seeking an individual with experience in cash applications, large-dollar payments, and is ambitious and detail oriented. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately!
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts, including high-dollar payments and credit card transactions.
- Review and post payments with a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Research and resolve discrepancies, including short payments, tax adjustments, and other account deductions.
- Manage high-volume payment posting while maintaining accurate records.
- Work independently while handling daily cash application responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable work history and a consistent employment background.
- Comfortable working independently in a quiet, focused office environment.
- Open to candidates earlier in their careers who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn.
- Prior cash applications or payment posting experience preferred, but recent graduates with the right attitude and work ethic will be considered.
- Demonstrates reliability, commitment, and a consistent work history.
