Job Title: Collections Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Range: $30-34/hour
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Collections Analyst to focus on resolving aged and delinquent customer accounts. This role will be responsible for researching historical account activity, investigating payment discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to collect outstanding balances. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and experience working within SAP or similar ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and collect on customer accounts that are 60, 90, and 120+ days past due
- Research historical payment activity, invoices, proof of delivery, and account records to resolve outstanding balances
- Analyze aging reports and prioritize high-dollar and high-risk delinquent accounts
- Investigate unapplied or misapplied cash by partnering with Cash Applications, Billing, and General Accounting teams
- Work with Sales and Operations to resolve customer disputes, pricing discrepancies, short payments, and other collection barriers
- Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts and account resolutions
- Provide status updates and reporting to the AR Manager and Finance leadership, including recommendations for write-offs or bad debt reserves
- Support ongoing accounting initiatives related to legacy accounts and historical data cleanup
Qualifications:
- Previous Collections experience
- Experience working within SAP
- High attention to detail and ability to research complex account histories
