Our client, a mid-sized organization is seeking an interim Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to help while they expand their finance group. This position will offer extensive exposure to upper management and executives. They are looking for someone who is a seasoned consultant and can get up to speed quickly. This role will help to build reporting, modeling, systems, and processes for future team members. This is a consulting role with expected duration of 3-5 months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of company and departmental forecasts for FY2026.
- Prepare monthly management reports; analyze performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year; identify trends, variances, and KPIs to drive actionable insights.
- Support implementation and enhancement of the NetSuite Planning and Budgeting tool; train users and continuously improve forecasting processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to cross-functional teams, fostering financial accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- B.A. degree in Finance or related field; MBA preferred
- Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- 10+ years overall experience within accounting and finance
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management, including CFO/VP
Salary Range: $55-60/hour
