Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an AP/AR Specialist to join a leading global company in the medical aesthetics industry, located in Buffalo Grove, IL. The AP/AR Specialist will provide accounting support during a leave of absence, assisting with both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This role will primarily focus on full-cycle accounts payable, including three-way matching and payment processing, while also supporting incoming payments, customer collections, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle accounts payable, including three-way matching
- Prepare check runs and process electronic vendor payments
- Prepare monthly liability account reconciliations
- Download ERP reports and utilize Excel for analysis and reporting
- Process and post incoming customer payments
- Maintain and update cash collection files as payments are received
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment follow-up
- Process refunds of customer deposits
- Assist with month-end close activities and additional accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP
- Experience with full-cycle accounts payable and three-way matching preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Flexible schedule and availability to work New Year's Day, if required; Thanksgiving and Christmas are observed, no additional PTO permitted during the holiday period
