Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL (100 % Onsite)
Pay Range: $27-$31/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established small to mid-sized construction company in Elk Grove Village, IL, to identify a Payroll Coordinator. This is a contract opportunity (approximately 6 months, with potential for extension) to provide coverage for a maternity leave.
The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for full-cycle payroll processing, along with supporting general HR-related tasks. This is an immediate need, and the ideal candidate will be available to interview and start as soon as
possible.
Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Enter and process weekly payroll for 30 salaried office employees and 100 hourly field employees including 4 unions
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
- Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Complete monthly and weekly Union reporting
- Maintain records for employee PTO accruals
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Payroll experience
- Union Payroll Processing experience preferred
- Experience within the building/construction industry-highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
