Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Skokie, IL
Pay Range: $55K-$60K Salary (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with our client located in Skokie, IL. Our client is an established organization within the senior living community industry. They’ve recently experienced a tremendous amount of growth. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a direct hire basis. The Accounts Receivable Specialist’s primary responsibilities will be performing cash application, billing, and collections tasks. The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist will be able to start as soon as possible.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Regularly review accounts receivable aging reports to track outstanding balances and identify delinquent accounts.
- Perform collections on past due accounts
- Accurately apply payments received via checks and ACH transactions to appropriate accounts daily
- Prepare and distribute billing statements in a timely and accurate manner
- Generate billing invoices
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of balances, billing, and payment records.
- Investigate and resolve billing, payment, and posting discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity
- Identify and correct misapplied payments to ensure accurate allocation of funds
- Investigate unapplied credits and apply them appropriately to accounts or communicate adjustments as needed.
- 3+ years of full cycle Healthcare AR experience performing collections, cash applications, and billing-REQUIRED
- Experience with billing and posting with Medicaid-REQUIRED
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
