Senior Accountant | $80,000 to $100,000 + Benefits

About the Role
Our client, a growing and dynamic organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of accounting operations, contribute to process improvements, and provide accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong technical accounting skills, and enjoys collaborating across teams to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany accounting activities.
- Assist with tax compliance, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of financial results.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to system implementations or automation initiatives.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries from external auditors.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
