Role Overview:
Our client, a large Fortune 500 manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in a divisional business unit. This position will offer extensive exposure to upper management. With unlimited potential for growth across several business lines, this position offers a strong progression track for the right individual. The role is heavily focused on supply chain, shipping analysis and ROI, providing detailed analytics and P&L analysis down to product, line, account detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly and quarterly forecasting and budgeting process
- Lead month-end reporting and variance analysis as it pertains to both sales and COGS
- Conduct financial analysis and special project work for the rental program, including preparation of various ad hoc analysis, pro formas, ROI’s as they related to internal business programs
- Provide financial analysis assistance to program managers, as well as the program Supply Chain analysts
- Assist with strategic business initiatives providing detailed analysis around company performance
- Participate in ongoing continuous improvement efforts by developing and maintaining strong financial reporting & analysis tools
Qualifications:
- B.A. degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- MBA or CMA is highly preferred
- Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
- 7-10 years overall experience within accounting and finance
- Ability to lead projects and assignments
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management, including senior management and GM’s
