Role Overview: Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Invoice & Billing Specialist. Our client in the restoration and mitigation industry is looking for an Invoice & Billing Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. They are seeking an individual that has 2+ years of experience in high-volume estimating or invoicing within the insurance/restoration industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Audit completed mitigation project files, including technical documentation, moisture maps, and logs
- Compile detailed, line-item invoices using industry-standard pricing and guidelines
- Submit clean, carrier-ready billing packets within strict deadlines
- Identify, resolve, and document billing discrepancies across departments
- Maintain real-time records of invoice submissions, pushbacks, and revisions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume billing, property insurance invoicing, or construction accounting
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in professional communication
- Experience working in structured, metrics-driven environments
