Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Burr Ridge, IL
Pay Range: $33-36/hour
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing the new-hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through employment, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance. This role works closely with other departments to coordinate onboarding activities, benefits enrollment, system setup, and orientation. The position will also provide support throughout the full-cycle recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pre-employment background checks and verify professional licenses
- Collect, review, and process new-hire paperwork, including financial forms, employment agreements, and training reimbursement documentation
- Create and maintain new employee profiles in ADP and other HR databases
- Partner with IT to coordinate hardware, software, and system access for new employees
- Prepare and distribute welcome materials and communicate company policies and procedures
- Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation sessions both in-person and virtually
- Guide employees through the benefits enrollment process, answer questions, and ensure accurate completion of enrollment materials
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of employee name tags and required compliance posters for new clinic locations
- Conduct regular audits of onboarding files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Assist with annual compliance audits and work with internal teams to resolve documentation or data issues
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including maintaining the ATS, conducting phone screens, and preparing employment offers
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- Assist with additional HR projects and administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
