Pay Range: $30/HR – $33/HR (Based on experience & qualifications)

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Human Resources Generalist for a well-established and collaborative organization within the manufacturing industry. This is a contract opportunity covering an extended medical leave, with an expected duration of 3–4 months, but could go longer.
The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with the HR team, including an HR Specialist, Benefits Specialist, and Payroll Specialist, reporting directly to the HR Manager. This role will be involved with running payroll for approximately 8- union employees, supporting 401k activities, and processing FMLA paperwork.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment, supporting critical hiring and onboarding initiatives during a high-impact period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Runs payroll in ADP Workforce Now for 80 salaried and 80 hourly employees
- Processes FMLA paperwork on a monthly basis
- Help with daily HR administrative work and run various reports in their system
- Communicate HR processes, updates, and policies to staff and administrators
- Maintain employee records, time-off tracking, and HR data within the HRIS system
- Support benefits administration and apply salary grid structures
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support hiring and onboarding initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience required
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now-REQUIRED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of an organization
- Union payroll experience is nice to have
- Manufacturing experience is nice to have
