Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Rosemont, IL (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $32-$38/HR (Based on qualifications and experience)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Financial Analyst with our healthcare administration client located in Rosemont, IL. This is a newly created contract position for approximately 3-4 months, with potential to extend, providing additional support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team.
The Financial Analyst will take day-to-day reporting, data management, and administrative responsibilities off the Senior Director of FP&A's plate. This position is ideal for a Financial Analyst or Staff Accountant who is beyond entry level, has strong Excel skills, and can work independently with minimal direction.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial reports using existing reporting processes and tools.
- Perform day-to-day financial data entry and reporting activities.
- Manipulate, organize, and analyze data from multiple systems and files.
- Utilize strong Excel skills to combine and work with data from various sources.
- Maintain and update existing dashboards and reporting files.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and inconsistencies before reports are finalized.
- Develop and implement validation checks to help prevent errors.
- Identify discrepancies or unusual data and proactively bring issues to the appropriate team member's attention.
- Assist with recurring financial reporting and other day-to-day FP&A activities.
- Improve existing reports and processes as opportunities arise.
- Take ownership of additional responsibilities and projects based on experience and business needs.
Financial Analyst Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, FP&A, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience manipulating, analyzing, and reporting on data from multiple sources.-REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and proactively address issues with minimal direction.
- Adaptable, analytical, and comfortable taking on additional responsibilities and improving existing processes.
