Transaction Advisory Senior & Supervisor – Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Our public accounting client in Chicago is growing their Transaction Advisory Services team and is seeking a Supervisor & Senior to join their group. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with clients on M&A transactions while gaining exposure to both buy-side and sell-side due diligence across diverse industries.
About the Role:
As a Transaction Advisory Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in managing financial due diligence engagements, preparing quality of earnings analyses, and identifying potential deal issues. You’ll collaborate closely with corporate and private equity clients, leading day-to-day engagement teams and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions

Analyze financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and cash flow trends

Prepare reports and presentations outlining key deal considerations

Support clients in identifying risks, opportunities, and adjustments impacting valuation

Manage project timelines and deliverables while supervising and developing staff
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred

3+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably with exposure to transaction advisory, audit, or financial due diligence

Strong analytical, project management, and client communication skills

Experience with Excel-based financial modeling and report preparation
