Overview
The Customer Experience & UX Architect is responsible for designing and evolving the end-to-end user experience across enterprise and customer-facing platforms. This role bridges user research, interaction design, and technical architecture to ensure that every digital touchpoint is intuitive, consistent, and aligned with both user needs and organizational goals.

The ideal candidate combines strong UX and information architecture skills with technical fluency in modern web and mobile frameworks (React, Material UI, iOS, Android). They understand the complexity behind interface design decisions, champion scalable interaction patterns, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver experiences that are usable, accessible, and maintainable at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of the product’s overall information architecture, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability across web and mobile platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and analytics reviews to identify friction points and inform design decisions.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that balance usability with feasibility.
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries, ensuring alignment with engineering and accessibility standards.
- Partner with product managers and developers to validate technical feasibility and streamline implementation of new UX patterns.
- Define and enforce UX and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and best practices across all digital channels.
- Advocate for a user-centered approach in all aspects of system and interface design, while balancing operational reliability and scalability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to designers and engineers on interaction design, design system governance, and cross-platform usability.
- 7+ years in UI/UX design, interaction design, or customer experience architecture roles, with experience bridging design and technology.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating information architecture, system-level design thinking, and experience in enterprise-scale environments.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Material UI, HTML/CSS/JS) and AI Deign Tools (VZero)
- Experience conducting customer interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Closely w/ CPO, VP of Engineering, Delivery Lead, Product Managers, Customer Success)
- Experience developing or managing component libraries and design systems that integrate tightly with engineering workflows.
- Designing interfaces w/ AI Tools (LLM’s and Agentic AI interfaces)
- Improved usability, accessibility, and consistency across digital products.
- Reduction in user friction and error rates through better design validation.
- Increased adoption and satisfaction as measured by customer feedback and usage metrics.
- Streamlined collaboration between design, product, and engineering through standardized design systems.
