Accounting Manager
Location: Hollywood, FL (onsite)

Our client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and oversee a team of three accounting professionals. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, deadline-driven leader who enjoys building efficient processes and mentoring team members. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvements across a multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 
	Manage daily accounting operations, supervising a team of three staff accountants. 
- 
	Oversee and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities. 
- 
	Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. 
- 
	Analyze and explain monthly and quarterly financial results to management. 
- 
	Partner with operations and real estate teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. 
- 
	Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. 
- 
	Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
- 
	Manage cash flow reporting, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. 
- 
	Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members. 
- 
	Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as assigned. 
Qualifications
- 
	Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred. 
- 
	5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role. 
- 
	Public accounting audit experience with a regional or national firm preferred; corporate accounting experience required. 
- 
	Real estate, construction, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus, but not required. 
- 
	Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes. 
- 
	Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
- 
	Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Yardi, or similar).
