Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Deerfield, FL (Hybrid Model; 3 days onsite/week)
Pay Range: $70/hr - $85/hr.
Job Type: Targeting a 6 month contract to hire

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support key business initiatives and ensure our data environment is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions that meet enterprise requirements

Contribute to best practices and standards across data integration and engineering activities

Collaborate with architects, analysts, report developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs

Serve as a technical expert in ETL development, data pipelines, and performance optimization

Participate in data architecture, data preparation, and modeling initiatives

Stay current on emerging tools, technologies, and trends within cloud data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
-
Support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the data team

Ensure data reliability, integrity, and performance in an Agile development environment

Contribute to large-scale projects with a focus on scalability, security, and sustainability
Qualifications

5+ years of experience with SQL and working in a data engineering or similar data-focused role

5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration tools

Strong familiarity with Azure cloud services (particularly Synapse) is required

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and Azure DevOps is a plus
-
Industry background in automotive, finance, or other regulated sectors is a bonus

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
