Job Title: Business Systems Lead

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 + bonus

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Lead to own and manage critical business systems, lead ERP initiatives, and support enterprise technology needs across the organization. This role requires deep functional and technical experience in Acumatica ERP, strong skills in Power BI, and the ability to support EDI integrations, day-to-day IT operations, and general helpdesk activities. This is a highly visible role, ideal for a hands-on technologist with leadership capabilities and a broad IT skill set.
ERP & Business Systems (Acumatica Focus):
- Act as the technical owner and subject matter expert (SME) for Acumatica ERP.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and external vendors to enhance and support ERP workflows and customizations.
- Oversee upgrades, patches, module deployments, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into actionable insights.
- Manage and troubleshoot EDI connections with vendors, customers, and partners.
- Work with trading partners and third-party providers to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with standards.
- Provide tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for the internal help desk team.
- Contribute to system upgrades, patching, asset management, and user onboarding/offboarding.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving ERP enhancements, data/reporting automation, or infrastructure changes.
- Document technical processes and provide training/support to business users.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve IT strategies, tools, and overall performance.
- 5+ years of professional IT experience with progressive growth in responsibility.
- Proven experience supporting and customizing Acumatica ERP.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report design.
- Hands-on knowledge of EDI protocols and transaction mapping (e.g., 850, 856, 810).
- Well-versed in IT fundamentals including networking, Windows servers, user support, and endpoint management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Exposure to scripting languages or automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments.
- Acumatica certification(s) a strong plus.
