Pay Range: $24/HR-$26/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist with our client located in Vernon Hills, IL. Our client is a well-established organization who specializes in designing and distributing various clothing items and accessories. They’ve recently had an employee relocate which has now caused a vacancy in the department. They are looking to hire a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract to hire basis. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for owning the full cycle AP responsibilities for the organization and be reporting to the Assistant Controller. The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist would be able to interview ASAP and start shortly after.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable inbox
- Process up to 300 AP invoices monthly
- Identify, research, and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Communicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve inquiries and invoice issues
- Handle credit card reconciliations
- Audit employee expense reports
- Research and resolve open inventory, Aged AP, and other discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience
- Comfortable working within MS Excel daily
- Must have strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Experience within the Manufacturing/Distribution Industry preferred
