Corporate Accounting Supervisor
Location: Chicago, Ill
Salary Range: $130,000-145,000+ annual bonuses

Our client is a leading global financial services group. This organization drives business with a strong focus on technology and innovation. In collaboration, we are seeking an Accounting Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing complex accounting areas, and partnering with key stakeholders to enhance internal controls and process efficiencies. 
Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee general ledger activities, prepare journal entries, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
•    Manage lease accounting, equity compensation, investments, debt,  ad hedging.
•    Support research and documentation of accounting positions on emerging issues.
•    Assist in financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis for complex accounting areas.
•    Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and supporting schedules for SEC filings.
•    Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to coordinate audit requests and maintain compliance with SOX controls.
•    Identify areas for process automation, efficiency enhancements, and control environment improvements.
•    Assist in financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis for complex accounting areas.
Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
•    CPA required.
•    5+ years of experience, career start in public accounting
•    Strong knowledge of US GAAP and  SOX compliance
•    Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
