Job Title: SAP Lead Analyst - Order to Cash
Location: Chicago, IL (Alternate locations: Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut
Salary Range: $115,000 - $120,000 + 10% bonus

The Lead Analyst, SAP Sales Order to Cash will collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to implement and optimize SAP solutions and processes, focusing on the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules. This role serves as the primary SAP expert for the organization's wholesale sales and accounts receivable solutions, driving successful adoption, enhancements, and rollouts across multiple regions.
For wholesale sales, the Lead Analyst will oversee the initial implementation and improvement of solutions in pilot locations, followed by a standardized rollout across other operational regions. For accounts receivable, the role involves supporting existing functionality, managing changes related to SAP SD implementation, and delivering enhancements in S4 HANA.
Scope of Responsibilities
This role covers the following functional areas:
- Sales and Distribution (SD):
- Customer onboarding.
- Finished goods stock availability for sale.
- Integration with third-party sales systems.
- Sales order management, pick/pack/shipping/delivery, and sales billing through to cash receipt and application (S4 HANA).
The role encompasses project delivery, user support, and continuous improvement but does not include configuration or technical development. It requires strong business liaison skills to bridge users and IT, with a focus on scope and requirements management, data preparation, training, testing, and implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout of SAP S4 HANA solutions and processes, focusing on SD and AR.
- Ensure the successful completion of assigned implementation deliverables within deadlines.
- Manage scope, fit/gap analysis, testing, data migration, and change management for SAP S4 HANA projects.
- Create and deliver high-quality training materials, project documentation, and user support resources.
- Conduct system and process demonstrations, user training, and conceptual presentations to build user competence.
- Address and resolve user issues through direct action or coordination with SAP support teams.
- Identify user access needs and provision appropriate roles to ensure seamless functionality.
- Develop and execute use cases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and test scripts for validation.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales and finance system processes.
- Provide regular updates to business leadership on project and implementation progress.
- Adhere to internal and cross-functional deadlines to ensure timely project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Order to Cash and Sales Management processes.
- 5+ years of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
- 2+ years of experience with S4 HANA.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SD and AR modules as an end user, key user, or business lead.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, including managing large datasets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with an SAP implementation project.
- Background in a publicly traded manufacturing or production-focused organization.
