Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for manufacturing operations that aligns the organization's broader business goals.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing units, operations teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to identify and analyze technology and digital transformation requirements across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Configure and customize MS Dynamics 365/Greycon or other MES, including from design, workflow automation, and data integration
- Establish data strategies for collecting, storing, analyzing, and utilizing manufacturing data effectively, including real-time data monitoring and predictive analytics.
- Ensure that digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing adhere to industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO) and implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive manufacturing data.
- Design digital solutions that are scalable, flexible, and adaptable to accommodate growth, changes in manufacturing processes, and evolving business needs.
- Systems Implementation and Upgrades: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Data Management: Develop and implement data management strategies, including data validation, cleansing, and migration, to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems
- Translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
- Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
- Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to gather and analyze information.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs while enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations through digital transformation.
- Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization, proposing and implementing pilots and proof-of-concepts as necessary.
- Establish governance models and frameworks to ensure consistent management and oversight of digital transformation projects across manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of digital transformation strategies, architectures, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Plant Floor Database management & Network Support
- Security and Compliance: Work closely with the IT security team to ensure that all implemented solutions comply with industry standards and internal security protocols
- Assists personnel in all departments as a computer resource
- Maintain the computing environment by troubleshooting hardware and software; installing upgrades; and monitoring network performance.
- Investigate, recommend, purchase, and install new software and hardware for Control Room Operation:
- Plant Floor Monitors
- Dashboards
- Work Order Boards
- Communication
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on digital transformation in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0 concepts, Data Streaming, Edge Computing and production workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Project management skills for overseeing digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
- User Training and Support: Provide training to end-users on new or updated systems
