Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Accounts Payable Clerk for our client located in Mokena, IL. Our client is a family-owned, automation and electrical distributor and they are looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to their Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Clerk is a direct hire position, be 100% in office and be available to start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Process check requests and expense reports
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Maintain vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Address and respond to vendor inquiries regarding finance
- Tracking payments and expenditures
- Scheduling and ensuring payments are received for outstanding credit
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
Qualifications
- Basic Excel skills
- Minimum of 2 years AP experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
