Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounting Clerk with our client located in Elgin, IL. Our client is a mid-sized distribution organization who has been established for many years. The Accounting Clerk would be responsible for performing both AP and AR functions within the department. The Accounting Clerk must be comfortable multi-tasking and utilizing Excel. This Accounting Clerk will be hired on a temporary to permanent basis and ideally be available to start ASAP.
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Process 25-50 AP invoice weekly
- Perform B2B collection calls on past due accounts
- Create and send out invoices to bill customers
- File and scan invoices into the system
- Process deposits into the accounting software
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recent accounting experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
