Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Bookkeeper with our client located in Downers Grove, IL. Our client is a mid-sized manufacturing organization who has been established for many years. The Bookkeeper would be primarily responsible for assisting on the Accounts Receivable side specifically performing cash applications responsibilities. Additionally, this Bookkeeper will assist with some AP and Billing functions. This Bookkeeper will be hired on an Temporary to Hire basis and ideally be available to start ASAP.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
- Post 50-100 payments received from customers daily via ACH/check/wire/credit card within QuickBooks
- Research and resolve misapplied, unapplied, or duplicate payments on accounts
- Create and send out up to 25 invoices weekly to bill customers
- Process 25-50 AP invoice weekly
- File and scan invoices into the system
- Process deposits into the accounting software
- Assist with account and bank reconciliations
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent accounting experience
- QuickBooks Experience required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
